Storyline
Greta is a young American woman who takes a job as a nanny in a remote English village, only to discover that the family’s 8-year-old is a life-sized doll that the parents care for just like a real boy, as a way to cope with the death of their actual son 20 years prior. After violating a list of strict rules, a series of disturbing and inexplicable events bring Greta’s worst nightmare to life, leading her to believe that the doll is actually alive.

Things immediately take a turn when Greta arrives at the enormous, rural estate occupied only by an elderly couple and a super creepy porcelain doll they treat as if it were their son.
Staying true to horror movie clichés, Brahms is dressed to the nines, has a wry smile and has a habit of wandering off when no one is looking. The elderly couple insist their son is alive and well as they hurry out the door and leave Greta alone in the house with strict rules not to leave Brahms alone and to always kiss him goodnight.
